Project title: Nano-composites for Opto-electronics


Composite materials are of growing interest particularly for their potential practical applications in various opto-electronic devices. ZnO based nanocomposite devices with p-channel FET characteristics enhanced by up to three orders of magnitude, fabricated by simple solution processing approaches, have been recently demonstrated by us. We focus on various composite materials such as metal oxides in polymer or nano-structures of small molecules in polymer to enhance the device efficiency for solar cells.
