Interface physics of organic electronic devices (Prof C S Lee)

Performance of organic electronic devices, including organic photovoltaic (OPV) and organic light-emitting devices (OLEDs), are high sensitive to various interfaces in the devices. This project aims to study the electronic structures of the organic/organic, organic/metal interfaces in organic electronic devices using surface science techniques such as X-ray and UV photoelectron spectroscopies (XPS & UPS). Knowledge obtained from the studies will be applied for enhancing performance of the organic electronic devices via various surface/interface engineering approaches.
